As a mom, I love the look on my son’s face when he’s snuggling up next to his dad; or that look of curiosity when he’s exploring something new. Being able to capture those beautiful moments that change so quickly as they grow is one of the things I love about being a photographer. I truly love capturing those moments in my client’s life & providing a beautiful work of personalized art to be enjoyed for years to come! Which brings me to little J’s session…
This little guy was very curious & not shy at all (which I love)! Getting to talk with his mom made it easy for me to see where he gets his relaxed & friendly personality. I can’t wait to see this beautiful boy again. Sarah, thanks for choosing Resuggan Photography for celebrating your child’s precious moments! I’m looking forward to seeing you soon!

I absolutely love photographing children of all ages, but especially the younger ones! And, I guess being a mom of 3 boys I tend to get really excited about having a little girl in the studio
This little beauty was absolutely adorable….and she had the funniest little growl sound she loved to make. My assistant & I were really smitten with little miss ‘L’! The session was primarily about her but we just had to get big brother in for a few shots! Susan, I want to thank you for asking the RP studio to capture ‘your life, your moments’. We look forward to seeing you again & showing you all of your session images!

Back in May the RP Studio had a #1 Mom Portrait Give-Away. I am excited to post our recent session of this wonderful Mom & her family! When I spoke to Debbie on the phone to plan her family’s session, I could already tell that I was going to really enjoy meeting & working with her. Now that I’ve had the honor of photographing her family I can see why everyone LOVES her - she has a very kind & giving heart. Her friend that nominated her, Renata, spoke of wanting Debbie to win our give-away because of her love for “…not only her own children but ours (Renata’s & everyone else’s at the MDO) as well.” Debbie put aside her own struggle with a rare form of cancer & a very invasive surgery/recovery & returned to the MDO that she had been working at since it opened so she could return to serve the children at the MDO she loves so much.
Shea, Debbie’s oldest daughter, says this about her mom:
“She’s always been our biggest cheerleader! From baton to basketball, from pageants to track meets, and now from cooking to raising our own children, she’s always shown support and love even when we do things a little different from how she would. Momma also finds joy in giving her time for the kids at MDO and playing the keyboard at church. Music and kids have always been things that she’s enjoyed the most.”
Debbie, thank you for allowing me to capture your family’s moments! I can’t wait to have you guys over again to show you all of your images….you’re going to love ‘em!

Here is a short preview of a wonderful family I photographed recently! I’ll have a full post & story soon, but here’s one for now…

This is a beautiful family! Oh, how I can hardly wait till I have the chance to photograph the little red-headed angel sometime soon - this session was for capturing this angelic little boy! Frances & Tom, I am excited to show you the rest of your images soon. Until then…
